Do you think that if those two individual games aren't sexist it proves that there's no problem in all of gaming? I mean, the sexist patterns in gaming are extremely well documented.
It's not about individual games, it's about the larger pattern. It's not "sexist" that Uncharted alone centers men, but it's sexist that Uncharted, GTA, God of War, Assassin's Creed, Gears of War, Call of Duty, Halo, Metal Gear Solid, TLoZ, and a million other games/franchises do

-
And these are all fictional realities, any one of them--several of them, all of them--could have centered women.
-
But they didn’t centre woman because a game developer has more to worry about than the gender of its lead

Why is it sexist to not have a female lead?
-
Cause that wouldn't fit the narrative buddy

Call of Duty has had playable women in multiplayer and Zombies for years, God of war is about the God of War, he isn't female and it wouldn't make is sense for that to happen, Assassin's Creed follows the bloodline of a male character, and most Assassins are male in that series.
-
Assassin's Creed is a completely made-up, fictional story! That is a choice to make most Assassins in the series "male!" It's not something that just happened in nature. It's not "true" or "real." It's the result of specific choices made by people.

Gears of War and Halo both let you play as women 100% of the time in multiplayer and horde/for respectively.
-
Being able to play with a female skin in a multiplayer mode is not remotely the same thing as a game giving you a specific, developed female character to play as in a story campaign.
