Do you think that if those two individual games aren't sexist it proves that there's no problem in all of gaming? I mean, the sexist patterns in gaming are extremely well documented.

No, I’m asking whether you still think a game with female leads is sexist. Your answer?

It depends on the game. Tomb Raider sometimes frames Lara in ways that present her as a sex object, but overall HZD and TR are examples of some of the progress made in recent years.

How does Tomb Raider present Lara as an object when the games are all about a female Indiana Jones basically

Camera angles that focus on her butt, for instance, in ways that male characters are rarely treated by the camera. https://youtu.be/ujTufg1GvR4

No that’s because 90s camera angles were weird. Especially with 3rd person platforming games

You should watch that video. Plenty of examples of games from the past ten years.

I’ve just watched a bit and it has the most stupid argument I’ve seen in ages. The reason Batman has a cape is because he always has! Can you see the behind of Ellie when you play the last of us? No!

I believe what you're doing is called "cherrypicking," relying on one good example (or a handful) to dismiss the widespread reality that games very often sexualize and objectify women.

Fine then. Does the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2 let you see it’s protagonists Behind? No it doesn’t

I don't know, I haven't played it yet. But I hope that game humanizes her. We could use more cool female protagonists that games actually treat as people.

You have got to be kidding me. Name a game in the last 10 years which doesn’t treat women as people
