Also you say "she's being kidnapped for her power." When does a core Mario game ever establish or communicate this? They don't. Again, young girls (and boys) don't get the message from Mario games, "Oh wow, Peach is so POWERFUL!" The games say men=heroes/rescuers, women=victims.

You do realise that there are Mario spin off games that makes peach part of the action? Mario Kart or Mario Sport for example

Because Bowser is strong and raids her castle with a literal army? Have you even seen: Super Mario Brothers 2, Super Mario 3-D world, Super Princess Peach and Mario+Rabbits kingdom battle?
