It's fine. It's a fine movie. With some great moments. And some ridiculous ones. Anyway, I have a lot of thoughts. More on the movie later.

One key difference: BR is a film I've found pleasure and value in returning to time and time again. I have no desire to see 2049 again.

I just saw it last night and came out of it shrugging and saying "s'okay." I think the online hyperbole (boy, is that a tautology) got me.

People think the original Blade Runner is full of long, ponderous takes and meandering stretches. It's not. It really moves at a good clip.
