Criticism doesn't (or at least REALLY SHOULDNT) exist to reinforce your pre-existing opinions, to tell you what you want to hear.

It should (at least at times) work to deepen your appreciation, broaden or challenge your perspective.

If a review is good, it should offer you something to consider even if it's a neg review for smthg you love or a pos one for smthg you hate.
