Seeing movies in a theater remains different to me from viewing them at home in an essential way, though this may say more about me than anything else: At a theater I never even think about checking my phone during a film. At home, I can’t help but at least feel it pulling at me.

for sure. I can be good at home about it but at a theatre in that atmosphere its such a good way to get lost in whatever is playing.

I really love the theater experience and miss it to death. I am just too afraid to go. I'd honestly like a home theater system that could somewhat rival the experience of an actual theater with a chaise lounge, get snugged up for movie night.

Definitely! I’ve never yet had a decent home theater setup, hope to have one someday soon. That might make a huge difference in my home viewing experience. And remaining cautious about theaters for now is perfectly understandable and even smart, considering how things are going!
