Typos in subtitles in general are really irksome to me. A lot of the Anime on Amazon Prime has missing spaces between words, for example “Hey! You There!” becomes «HeyYouThere!»

Subtitler/translator here. It is not the case in this specific one, but there is only so much information you can put in the space allocated for the subtitles (which have to be there for time enough to be read). Verbatim is ideal, but not always feasible.

You’re right, and of course I understand that verbatim isn’t always feasible. I guess I meant I object when words that add emotional context are unnecessarily left out, as I feel is the case here.
