HOW DARE YOU... agree with my opinions and exactly express the same feelings I have for this game!

100%. The game would lose SO MUCH if the weapon degradation went away.

Plus, the world is absolutely littered with weapons across the board. As I progressed and gained more inventory slots there was never a point in time I didn’t basically have a full inventory of strong weapons that were completely disposable. Never felt terribly cumbersome.

I agree for the most part, but towards the late game, it felt a little unbalanced. It had me avoiding encounters because I knew I was likely gonna spend more resources than I was gonna get back. For example, Lynels were my favourite fights, but I stopped doing them altogether.

All else aside, one of the most satisfying things in that entire game is chucking an almost-busted weapon at an enemy and watching it explode into them. It's worth it.
