Don’t be afraid to take a pain/fever reducer, I needed one to get to sleep for a couple nights in the middle of the process.

I could give up coffee and tea, but not chocolate. Did you “read” the Michael Pollan “Caffeine” audiobook?
-
No I haven't. And I definitely miss chocolate. Once I know I've had all caffeine out of my system for a decent while and can gauge how that feels, I might try reintroducing chocolate into my life now and then and see how that goes.

The first time I went off caffeine, I felt like I had a severe flu for about 2 weeks, and it was awful. Best of luck, stay strong, it's worth it.

Wouldn't it be better to slowly reduce it until you stop taking caffeine at all? Our bodies usually don't deal well with sudden changes. In any case, I hope you feel better soon :)
