I know the main discourse is "but the doctors aren't even trying to help kids transition, just prescribe puberty blockers," but I actually do think kids should have the option of transitioning too. I realised I was trans back when I was 15, and after the year of (1/2)

questioning leading up to it, my knowledge that I wasn't a boy was completely ironclad, and has been ever since. I was a few years into cis puberty at that point, but had I been able to start transitioning five years ago, I can't even begin to say how much it would've mattered.

Same, it would have made so much difference to my life had I been able to transition so much sooner and undergo HRT much sooner. Trans youth deserve to be able to be themselves, to have the support they need and every opportunity to grow into themselves.

They deserve so much better than what transphobics keep demanding of them, no trans youth should have to suffer like many of us trans adults had to.
