There was no "push" for me as a child to "adopt transgenderism" (lol), quite the opposite in fact, but I still knew I wasn't a boy. Growing up in a situation where I knew speaking that truth would only be met by hostility increased my internal anguish tremendously.

If it seems like we have "more" trans kids now, it's because more kids are being raised by loving parents and they're safe and secure to explore and live their truth. It's not that trans kids didn't exist before. We just largely lived in silence and shame.

We will always exist. There's nothing you can do about that. You can try to make trans kids hate themselves, but you can't make them not be who they are.

So hey, choose love. Please. Please. Help create a world where trans kids know that they deserve to be loved, instead of a world that tells them to hate themselves. Choose love. Please.

It says a lot that the governor of Mississippi is fovusing more on limiting trans people's rights than fixing the water crisis happening down in Jackson. Sickening
