I feel like I could have written this tweet. Or, could write it every single morning.

You could go decaf. That's what I did to break my caffeine addiction but I still craved some delicious coffee.

Oh, I know, and I do sometimes. But of course some part of me craves the caffeine rush, even as I know it's not good for me. That's the struggle.

Caffeine is the only joy I have left.. they'll have to pry the sack of beans from my shaking, palpitating hands.

I love that we have each decided not to go quietly into that good night

I can't do caffeine because of my anxiety but I like the taste of coffee. Decaf doesn't really work for me. Instead, I found a non-caffeine tea that has a taste similar to coffee. It's by Teeccino and is called French Roast. Just thought I'd mention it. I love it haha

Ooh I may try that, thanks!

HUGE grain of salt here because everyone's chemistry is different, but I was low on vitamin d in my life and when I started it apart from other mood changes I noticed that specifically caffeine induced anxiety disappeared for me. YMMV and decaf is probably just as good, but hey!

that's interesting, thanks for letting me know, i may look into it!
