I'm conflicted about people saying the accents in #Cyberpunk2077 are racist. I know people from different cultures don't -have- to have accents, but many of them are voiced by people representing those cultures. How can you expect a Japanese native not to have a Japanese accent?

Like, most of the Asians you meet are either Arasaka or Tyger Claws. Where are all the Asian Americans whose families have been in the US for generations and who sound more like V?

I've heard people complain about the accents, but that's not at all an issue. Honestly? Everyone in the game is a scumbag. Literally everyone. I do agree that the Arasaka company is shown as evil, but... everyone's evil. I think the only non-evil person I've seen was Hispanic.

And OMG, he's amazing. I'm starting to find out one of the Japanese characters may be good. And Panam Palmer... she appears to be of Middle Eastern descent, but the game doesn't bring it up. She's appearing to be good. I guess... context is important.

Thanks. I'm actually going to say that I had no clue the Tyger Claws were supposed to be Asian-specific; I'm 40 hours into the game, and they just seemed like a grab bag of people who liked looking like tigers.
