I know I've been particularly bitter on here recently. It's no excuse but these past several months have often been really difficult and scary, as you all know. I apologize, I appreciate your patience, and I'm very grateful for the kindness many of you have continued to show me.

I’m not sure if this helps, but I’m moving through an anxiety workbook with my therapist right now that is doing wonders in untangling some complicated emotions. I’m happy to share the resources I use, or I can just send positivity your way.

I obviously don't know you in any deep sense, but from what I read and hear from you - you're such a kind hearted and sweet person, that your version of bitter is so tame and non-toxic. Like, I feel like we all see much worse daily on here.
-
Well thank you, I do appreciate that.

Anyone sane is dealing with some real existential terror right now. I get it. In a lot of ways, me too. I don't know how we're getting through this, but we will.

Back when I was first going through therapy for PTSD, one of the things they talked about was how the body abs brain responded to “fight or flight” stimuli by closing off a lot of the ability to take things in. As that stimuli wanes, you are still there. It’s going to be okay.

yeah, absolutely. i have a lifelong history of hypervigilance, it's very easy for me to get into that mode and tough for me to get out of. but i'm doing what i can, long walks and the like to get me into my body. but yes, you're right. this too shall pass.
