Okay, made it to the final boss of Hades twice in a row, which feels good. Got destroyed by him both times, which feels less good, but I'll get him.

What I love about Zagreus is he doesn't feel any shame about his failures. They don't mean he's broken or undeserving. He just gets up and tries again.

And by "gets up" I mean "nonchalantly strolls out of the pool of blood"

Absolutely. You feel that determination in Zagreus, the restless longing to bust out of there, even as he's still got warmth and affection for the people in the House who support him. The writing is just outstanding.

Yes! And the marriage of the writing to the core design and run mechanics is superb. Not just that it evolves and builds and deepens as you progress, but that it reinforces both Zagreus’ motivations and your own resolve to keep pushing ahead and making progress.

Yeah, probably! Want to beat it first and probably spend some more time with it after that but I'm definitely kicking something around in my head.
