I used to think the podcast could make others feel less alone. I'm not sure I even believe that anything can really make us feel less alone. I think what I hope now is that it can comfort or console or provide insight or make you feel. I thank all of you who listen to me!

Thank you. That is a subject I tend to come back to. I am in conflict about it right now. Part of me feels I should accept my loneliness. The other part tells me to resist it and to keep trying to connect and reach out even when it seems like it never works.

I know this dilemma very well. For me personally, after all this time, I’m not sure that ultimately a lasting acceptance of loneliness is possible—I must accept that it is a condition that I wish to see come to an end.
