One of my few daily rituals in the midst of quarantine was carving out a bit of time to sit outside at a nearby park and read for a bit. I know it's a small thing, but I miss it, and look forward to the air quality clearing so I can get that bit of life outside my apartment back.

That sounds so lovely. I’d go for walks around the neighborhood and briefly picked up a habit of playing solo hackysack in a churchyard
all kinds of coping mechanisms. But def started to feel the monotony. Hope you’re well, friend. Is air quality getting better?1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

It's been holding pretty steady at unhealthy levels for the past few days. I don't have a good sense of when it's projected to start clearing up, but hopefully fairly soon. Thanks Marzena, hope you're doing well too!

Any games you’re particularly excited about these days? I’m desperate for something new

To be honest right now I'm mostly looking forward to playing Mario 64 on my Switch, a game I missed out on upon release and have never really played. And (eventually) looking into digging into Cyberpunk, which whether I love it or hate it will no doubt be interesting to consider.

ahhhh! i also somehow missed out on mario 64. my partner was obsessed with mario odyssey on the switch but somehow the franchise didn’t pull me in.

I didn't love Odyssey, but I did love Galaxy on the Wii, which I found endlessly inventive with its gravity systems and level design, and a great sense of wonder. Worth trying if you pick up 3D All-Stars on the Switch!
