For me it was having 15 hours to understand Joel before he did the awful thing. I think if we'd started with Joel murdering someone we knew it would be harder to get past. I should note that I lost my dad this past year so that factors in I'm sure...

We just get a couple of flashbacks with Abby before she goes on an unrelated adventure. For me forgiving Abby was too high a hill to climb. I thought the game took a lot from me as a player, asked a lot and gave little in return. Kind of how you felt.
