I liked Last of Us and plan on playing the sequel, but it's almost as if every pre-release interview and piece of marketing is trying to make me think the game is repellent. Druckmann consistently comes off as a college boy with a scarface poster on his wall.

And not repellent as an intentional artistic choice, repellent as in "I am tired of grimdark violence and torture porn masquerading as maturity." If this is the best videogames have to offer (it's not), videogames don't deserve to be taken seriously
