I'm not sure wheter we are inherently evil or good, but I do know that we have the power to choose what we do. It should be our duty to help people realize that they can always choose, that they don't have to be bound to their past and that there's always a reason to do good.

At best, small groups of homogeneous people like in chaz (progressive people with a similar belief structure and values) might be able to organize for a while, but if you have different groups of people it would descend into chaos and violence quickly.

Chaz would look totally different violence wise, if it had a makeup of 20% progressive activists, 20% conservative voters, 20% new immigrants, and 40% apolitical people who are interested in other things. And that’s more like the makeup of the country as a whole
