God of War didn't deserve a consensus of acclaim, it deserved a range of critical perspectives. Doom (2016) didn't deserve a consensus of acclaim, it deserved a range of perspectives. To whatever extent TLOU2 might be receiving a range of critical reactions, that is a good thing

Hmm yeah not really sure what people are talking about, that’s not exactly a big range of scores or anything. https://twitter.com/nibellion/status/1271339025660592129?s=21 …https://twitter.com/Nibellion/status/1271339025660592129 …

Wow very divisive game. Is it great or extremely great?!

This isn't a reaction to the game itself which I haven't played & look forward to making up my own mind about. Just frustrating that some people out there flip out when there's even this minimal amount of divergence in critical reactions. What do you all think criticism is for?!

There are people who want nothing out of game reviews but to be told that they are right to like the things they already like, sometimes things they've decided they like before they've even played them. It's a very serious problem, folks.
