I still haven't (and won't) look at the TLOU spoilers but someone lectured me about how it breaks some fundamental rule of "storytelling 101" and it's hard not to hear this as "I want commercial art that always plays it safe and that gives me exactly what it thinks I want." Yawn.

Of course until we play the game we can't know whether the story is any good. Roger Ebert was fond of saying, “It's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it.” How it feels, how it's told, how we experience it as players, are all tremendously important.
