I will be hate-voting for Biden in the presidential election. But I despise the talking point that says it's incumbent upon those on the left to sacrifice their political principles, "be reasonable" and move to the center, and not on the presidential candidate to earn our vote.

I'd be right there with you if the rhetoric coming from Bernie and his biggest supporters after Nevada weren't of the "bend the knee" & "the establishment can't stop us" variety. Don't see how that points to him extending his hands to moderate voters if he won the nomination.

Oh yeah, wow, lowering the Medicare age to 60. It's laughable IMO, not real.

It's really hard for us to come together *because* we are the most disenfranchised, and honestly that's what really hurts in the end. We're so easily split, its sometimes unbelievable to me we have even gotten this far at all.

Not being in the center essentially means you will almost always be unenthusiastic for a candidate that can win a general election. Sometimes we'll get someone fantastic, but that's going to be rare. It's not really a problem as long as we keep pushing left.

I feel like I’ve seen it from both sides. Pressure on Bernie supporters to support Biden and pressure on Biden to reach out to Bernie supporters.

I mean, can you blame them with how most of the left always ends up voting for them anyway

Of course it’s a two-way street. If you vote in enough numbers you’ll get who you want nominated. If you can’t then that isn’t some kind of betrayal of you for them not to change the positions that got them nominated. It’s a question of basic logic and utility to vote for the

better candidate. If you thought it was the most left guy and voted for them, the same choice is given to you now. None of these counter-arguments make sense. If you want more Trump - okay. Go ahead.
