Incredible to realize that Mickey Rourke's run as a movie star lasted seven years at best (from Diner through Wild Orchid). I own shirts that are twice as old as that.

Just realized Diner came out in 82. I saw it in 83, so in my mind that's the year it came out.

Do people still go absolutely wild for actors in that way? Like, "What is this person in next, and when can I see it?" Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson for sure. Who else? Michael B. Jordan? I feel like Oscar Isaac was in that club for a bit.

I never watched Girls so when I first saw Adam Driver in films—The Force Awakens and While We’re Young—it was really exciting to me. He just seemed to burst onto the scene out of nowhere, full of so much potential.
