Do you have any idea how little money this is for WalMart, a company that rakes in billions and pays its employees a pittance? This is cheap PR for them.pic.twitter.com/n00itDSPo7

Would you rather they commit zero? It's $25 million!

No, we'd rather they commit more, since they can afford more. How is that not clear?

Feels weird to berate a company for donating _anything_ -- much less $25 MILLION. No matter how much they "rake in," 25mil is a big number.

Alternative reaction: "Kudos for committing $25 million. Would you consider doing more? The need is great and we know you have the resources." ^ sounds much less prickish

Sorry that I don’t feel the need to be polite when talking about evil corporations.

Dissolve Walmart! Those 2.2 million employees would be far better off jobless.

The Walton family is worth over 200 BILLION. They are thieves, plain and simple, stealing the lion’s share of wealth generated by the labor of their workers from those workers while many of those workers struggle to make ends meet. And $25 million from them right now is an insult

But hey, you keep being a cheerleader for corporate American capitalism. I’m sure the Waltons and Bezoses of the world appreciate your support.

I'm a cheerleader for effective criticism. Walmart employs millions and you're speaking as if they'd be better off if this "evil" corporation were to cease to exist. It just doesn't make sense to me. Reform them, don't demonize them.

It’s so tiresome to encounter someone like you who, even now, even in the midst of what’s happening, still can’t see what an outrage the status quo of American capitalism is and get angry at the exploitation of the working clsss by the ruling class. I’m muting you now.
