On some level I understand where the effectiveness of the attack on Bernie Sanders for (*gasp!*) owning a few houses comes from. Owning even one house at any point in my lifetime seems like an absolute impossibility at this point. But, like, Bernie Sanders thinks it shouldn’t be.

He's trying to obscure the differences in their wealth. Bloomberg has around 2000x the wealth of Bernie. Heck he's 50x wealthier than Tom Steyer the other billionaire in the race.

Owning more than two houses is a big deal. But I'm guessing he's still the poorest candidate, so the point is moot. You poor americans.

The insinuation being that the average person should only have one modest house AT MOST. You and I having enough money to buy an entire NYC block without breaking a sweat is something to be mocked, according to Bloomberg. I'm sure he doesn't think similarly of himself.
