San Francisco's Tosca Cafe in North Beach, now closed, as seen in Until the End of the World. And don't talk to me about being alone.pic.twitter.com/CgYvkmApLO
I envy the globehopping characters in this film so much. I have such unsatisfied wanderlust burning inside me. The imagery of this film is so gorgeous, the way Wim Wenders captures all the cities and landscapes of the adventure.pic.twitter.com/fIdqpMDgUf

What movie is this?
The thing that gets me about UtEotW is the tonal shifts. There are sequences that feel lifted from at least 3 separate genres/types of movie in there but it somehow mostly works without the 2.5 hr runtime feeling too indulgent
I'm watching the newly released director's cut on Criterion, it's five hours, and feels much more fleshed out than the truncated theatrical release.
