I actually don't know that I've ever seen anything like the past month's all-hands-on-deck panic about Bernie Sanders once he pulled ahead in Iowa. 2016 wasn't even this intense.

I have no idea if Sanders will pull it off but the fact that the campaign has come this far with the full-throated opposition of the bulk of the professional democrat industry, billionaires, and the party itself, is just really something. Didn't expect to see this in my lifetime.

For me it's such a hard thing emotionally to navigate; the hope and conviction that winning is really possible, which IMO we need to have, with not being broken and becoming cynical if it doesn't happen. Recognizing how extraordinary and encouraging all of this is no matter what.
