You touched on why I can’t understand why people have latched on to this film as some arbiter for their political stances. I felt the film was too vague as well with what it stood for to lean one way or the other.

That’s in the service of Arther Fleck though, since the film represents his moral confusion. But I also felt TP was being very clear that he wasn’t siding with Fleck. He showed empathy, but I thought it was clear Fleck was in the wrong.
