The first episode "lesser evil" and Geralt trying to stay out of it all feels very 1st (to the most degree to me, and some 2nd and 3rd) game - but I have not read the books, so I don't know how much it is in the original source material too
There are more than a couple moments that are deeeeeeefinitely nods to the games. Like, straight up references to certain mechanics
