I wonder how many white players of The Witcher 3 felt righteous anger at the way Geralt was discriminated against in the world of the game but also enjoy deploying the occasional racist meme on the interwebs.

As I think on this, when the characters are not white males there is still anger and frustration, but there is also a feeling of fear, despair, desperation, and depression. Like for white males there is less of a sense of danger some how.
