Ghostbusters: Afterlife looks like it’s just pure reverence for Ghostbusters (‘84) turned into a movie (ie Here angry fanboys, is this what you wanted?). But it doesn’t seem all that interested in the aspects of Ghostbusters I loved most: particularly its great working-class vibe

Diverse cast, multiple female leads, working class family in small town america, directly linked to original movie, with different tone fitting of modern film aesthetics, new story that isn't completely ripping off what already happened in the previous movies. Looks great to me.

My intent wasn't to discredit your opinion. I was just giving my perspective on it towards the conversation. My mistake if that's not what twitter is for.
