Ghostbusters: Afterlife looks like it’s just pure reverence for Ghostbusters (‘84) turned into a movie (ie Here angry fanboys, is this what you wanted?). But it doesn’t seem all that interested in the aspects of Ghostbusters I loved most: particularly its great working-class vibe

Anyway it’s not that the little kid in me who loved proton packs and PKE meters and all the *stuff* of Ghostbusters doesn’t feel something, seeing it treated with such reverence in the trailer. I just want a movie that does more than play me like a fiddle in this fashion.
