It is always weird for me to watch films like Marriage Story, in which the main characters are younger than me, reckoning with the end of a chapter of their lives that I still don’t feel has really even started for me yet.

And if there's 1 problem with my life from this past decade that I really want to change in the next, it's how small it has been. I don't have a family. I don't have a partner. There's been nobody to inconvenience me, nobody I have to compromise with and for. Here's to the 2020s.
