I like The Mandalorian but let's be real, it is (or, rather, should be) straight up ridiculous how male dominated it is. Imagine a show that in its first three episodes, only had one man in a minor speaking role, and every other character of any significance at all was a woman.

It is a world where thus far even an overwhelming number of minor, incidental characters are male.

To your original question, I present the film Silent Hill. Most of the cast was female. There was no issue whatsoever. (Let's ignore the unfortunate comment of Christophe Gans saying he chose a female lead because "mothers care more about their children than men", it's BS)

Of all the characters you named, you have 5 that are actually important to the plot, the rest are just background characters. This is what I meant by 5 characters, I meant of course "of importance".

"Background characters" are crucial to these conversations, and to our perceptions of who makes up a society. It's essential that women make up more "background characters" in these worlds.

Cross off the storm troopers except one and the other backgound Mandalorians as they have avoided boob armour you cannot tell their gender. Also the droid as droids are machines.
