wait, shenmue 3 review embargoes are a few days AFTER its release? is that right? you shouldn't be able to do that. once a thing is released, discussing it publicly is fair game.

I assume the usual enforcement is, since the only people who could have written an early review are groups who got review copies, they just blacklist you from getting review copies?

Yeah, it would probably be something like that, less cooperation from Sega/Deep Silver in the future. I just wish press outlets would collectively refuse to honor a post-release embargo.
