very early fortnite impressions: GOOD: the new island is wonderfully picturesque, with its wide rivers, its little lakeside cabins, its golden sunsets. BAD: the revamped CoD/WoW-style XP system is nothing new but i dislike such systems. they feel calibrated for addictiveness.
I mean, you could argue that that's "bad" but it's not bad to me. They're a small percentage of the island overall, and Fortnite's lore/rifts have always kinda been about overlaps & echoes between different realities. Why shouldn't the new island have a Pleasant Park of its own?
