For the record, *I* love theme parks, I absolutely adore the theatrical ingenuity and magic of Disneyland and of traveling carnival dark rides too. So perhaps his choice of words wasn’t ideal, but I feel like I understand what Scorsese meant.

I don't necessarily agree fully with Scorsese, but knowing what I know of his perspective... I can see and understand how he feels the way he does. What irks me is seeing fans, and even creators, of the biggest movies in the world, acting like underdogs over this.

I believe a lot of those fans and creators are insecure and rabid corporate shills. Not pretty, but it’s the truth that I see.
