The dismissive tone of this is so frustrating, and like so much other fan site coverage of Joker, seems designed to whip fanboys up into more of a frenzy against anyone who criticizes the film and indeed against the very idea that there could be anything harmful about this film.

The problem with review is that is all opinion, no analysis. Is this going to be like Fight Club, where the audience that it is being critical of miss the point and it emboldens? Or is it a wake up call that we have a group of violent white men that need to be reeducated?
