I don't see anything wrong with it. They built a massive universe and got people to care about characters for 10 years, including myself. I am a cynic but that was well done. And it's not just because of money that they found success. DC sucked it and they had money too.

So good for them. I remember in my own country, there was a celebration for a right wing propaganda movie (which nobody saw), being held by the movie's distributors (the previous government) who had killed protesters before. That was pathetic and terrible. This is okay.

Obviously it's not remotely the same kind of issue but in it's own way, it does matter. I was staying in a hotel a few weeks ago that had ABC News on. They were spending multiple days in a row covering a Disney festival/PR event thing. (ABC is, of course, owned by Disney).
