Of course some ppl will react with hostility to being "forced" to read news about what's really going on, but coddling those readers and allowing them to maintain a relationship with games uncomplicated by these realities is actively harmful and works to maintain the status quo.

When I say that the culture around games has to change, part of that means not letting male readers of game sites live in a media bubble in which games are untarnished by all of this: exploitative labor practices, hate movements, and, yes, the emotional and sexual abuse of women.
