And yes, of course I understand that we think of the company in this situation having an obligation to treat its players with respect, but how far does that go? How much do you put up with? What about the level on which we’re all human beings?

Again, I don’t play Apex, so I don’t know if it applies here, but there’s no question that there is an extraordinarily demanding, entitled subset of gamers out there who treat devs aggressively poorly...

...and I don’t think our response when reading stories like this should be one that denies or erases the fact that they’re real people too, who might understandably feel anger or frustration or fear or something if vocal players berate them on the regular.
