As white people, Trump's racism, his white supremacy, it belongs to us. Our silence makes us complicit in it. We should--we MUST--be the ones condemning it in no uncertain terms. Moments like this are the definition of "White silence equals violence."

And so, while I'm greatly heartened by actions like Dan Le Batard using the platform of his ESPN show to call out not only Trump's racism but the cowardice of institutions like ESPN that seemingly wish to remain silent and neutral as Trump's fascism grows ever more apparent...

...I continue to feel like we as white people collectively need to be saying and doing so much more. We all benefit from white supremacy. It's on us (and nobody else) to collectively start taking the steps to fully confront and dismantle it.
