Saw a (white) streamer on Twitch's front page this morning, he was playing Dauntless and talking about the difficulty of some aspect of it and then he put on an affected, stereotypical Japanese (?) accent and started saying "Ex-prain the difficulty, please ex-prain." Hilarious.

Thanks for the kind words. I've accepted it but it still weighs on my heart sometimes. I can't imagine fighting for things like this online while having a following like you do. That special mix of gamers and misogyny must be real crappy to deal with.

At times it is too much. There are periods when things flare up and, for my own mental and emotional health, I need to step away for a while.

I have to hold my tongue sometimes. End of the day I still need a job. And anxiety is a major factor. Sometimes I speak up and then I spend the rest of the day feeling like I'm burning up from fever. Even if you have to be silent, nothing can stop you from listening and learning.
