Heard you can play through Cyberpunk 2077 without killing anyone. I was like, "Rad, you can like talk/sneak your way through any situation?! Awesome!" Then clicked through a story, laughed out loud, and felt like a fool.pic.twitter.com/q1x8xHirPB

I can at least support the Arkham Knight silliness because it at least nods to the policy if not necessarily reflect it as a choice players must make, the same way even enemies you Chuck off buildings in Spider-Man magically get webbed to the walls before they hit ground.
Currently playing Spider-Man, and thought it was funny that some of the encounter challenges actually promote knocking bad guys off skyscrapers. Then they just like, never address it after the fact.
Actually in that game if you watch closely Spidey somehow manages to web everyone he throws off a building safely onto the side of the building. IT'S NON-LETHAL! YAY!https://youtu.be/uua2MXAY2C8
I've only ever played one game where talking your way out of a fight was an option (Undertale). I was disappointed when I tried playing Fallout and there was an option to choose a character that was bad at combat but good at talking then immediately being thrown into a gun fight
