Plight of the soldier... they REALLY thought it was about the “plight of the soldier”? Did they just NOT pay any attention to the conspiracy’s and government people from quite a few countries INCLUDING the USA involves in those nuclear arms contracts and stuff?

I went into MGS in the knowledge those themes exist within it. It has good lore, and the politics are handled with more depth than "x IS BAD". I go into DOOM with the mindset of "I just want to kill things".
