If we're in that nuanced grey-area, I think Villanelle is wholeheartedly more comparable to Hannibal (from, like, Hannibal—like, Mads-Hannibal), so I sort-of question if her morality really matters in context of her arc. Like Hannibal, yeah, bad, but also she's more than that...
I don't know that Villanelle exists in the same space of our general sense of morality. There's even a question of, if like Dexter, she's sort of a net win because she had historically been sent to kill mafiosos, etc. She's absolutely not the heroine, but an anti-heroine.
Havn't seen the latest episode yet, but I have to admit it's pretty hard not to think of Villanelle as incredibly cool. So I guess I'm rooting for her despite better judgement.
