Even when art is supremely disappointing or infuriating--be it the end of ME 3 or the end of GoT--you don't get to bend it to your will! Accepting that art will sometimes let you down, make you angry, or leave you feeling betrayed is part of having a healthy relationship w/art.

Fair point, perhaps not, though people (myself included) felt pretty connected to Mass Effect and Shepard, and art or not, the feeling of entitlement that allows people to think they should campaign for it to be changed to better meet their expectations is dangerous IMO.

To me developers responding to fan conversations and feedback by making changes that they also believe will make the gameplay better (ie removing a vehicle) is categorically different from fans exerting pressure to have frustrating/disappointing story developments altered.
