(I originally bought it back in the day mainly just to score that cover of "Against All Odds" by The Postal Service but--aside from the Lifehouse and Snow Patrol tunes--I just fell in love with the whole thing.)

My wife loves the soundtrack to Reservoir Dogs and would never watch it (and would be sickened if she did). Stuck in the Middle indeed!

This qualifies. The movie isn't bad (commentary on how the powerful use people as tools and discard them when they don't need them anymore) but is FAR outmatched by the soundtrack, one of Morricone's masterpieces. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLFFCmQvZDc …

Not a film but I love Max Richter's work for the HBO series The Leftovers but haven't seen the show yet. Johnny Greenwood's score for Phantom Thread is quite beautiful (thanks
@HappyDragonite for the rec), and I still need to watch the film. - End of conversation

I just thought of one: Hammock's score for COLUMBUS. I haven't seen the film yet but have been obsessed with the score for a while now.

Oh, yeah! I thought the film was wonderful.
