Speaking as a (mostly) former reviewer, I see a lot of conversations that can and should be had about systemic issues that undermine the process. “These fools do not agree with the opinions of me, the objectively correct contrarian” is not one of those conversations.

no he shouldn't have to, but here's the thing: everybody's working with what they have and the reality we live in maybe an outlet could hire tevis to review the next big AAA game, be a contrarian about it, see how he feels about it then

i suspect if tevis was on the receiving end, he would be far, far less rowdy about his "THERE SHOULD BE MORE CRITICS SAYING OUT LOUD THAT RDR2 SUCKS (SPECIFICALLY IN THE FORMAT OF REVIEW SCORES)"
